SPIROL, a global manufacturer of Engineered Fasteners, Shims and Fastener Installation Equipment, is pleased to announce the recertification of the SPIROL Shim manufacturing facility to AS9100.
The SPIROL Shim division, located in Stow, Ohio, USA, manufacturers Precision Shims, Custom Washers & Spacers, and Disc Springs. In addition to AS9100, the SPIROL Shim Division is also certified to IATF 16949 and ISO 9001, and is Nadcap accredited for both Chemical Processing and Laser Beam Machining.
AS9100 is among the highest international quality management standards for the aircraft, space and defense industries. The AS9100 Quality Management System standard promotes continuous product and process improvement and ensures that specific processes are used in the manufacture of production components.
