- Establish an effective pollution prevention agenda to prevent harmful impacts to the environment by continually striving to conserve energy, identifying non hazardous, reusable and recycled materials for use in our operations, and developing manufacturing processes focused on waste reduction at the source;
- Actively pursue waste minimization to diminish negative impacts to the environment by establishing programs and practices to reduce byproducts of our manufacturing operations, encouraging the recycling of materials, and exploring technologies directed at waste reduction;
- Promote environmental, health and safety programs to proactively reduce occupational injury and environmental hazards through development of effective training programs, enforcement of policies and procedures, and fostering a culture of employee participation.
Our goal is not to be a passive or reluctant complier but rather a proactive participant taking reasonable action within our ability to meet our environmental, health and safety responsibilities as a corporate citizen.
